Aesthetic Treatments
Nail reconstruction: This procedure offers a very popular solution for damaged, thickened, or fungal nails. Unlike Acrylic, Wilde Pedique and Pedisafe are prosthetic, flexible gels, designed to allow the foot to move naturally with out causing undue pressure of the natural nail and nailbed underneath. Administered by a Podiatrist using an aseptic technique to prevent cross-contamination. The result is a nail that looks and feels authentic, allowing for cutting, filing, natural appearance, Gel polish application included.
Mediped: A full routine chiropody appointment with ‘A bit of a pamper’ Includes nail trimming and shaping, gel polish application, a soothing foot mask and hot towels, soak and scrub, and the removal of hard skin. We conclude the session with a luxurious hot steam treatment and foot moisturiser, ensuring your feet feel pampered and revitalised.
Footbath: Rejuvenate tired feet with a soothing footbath. Whether seeking relief from fatigue or simply unwinding, immerse yourself in warm water and emerge feeling refreshed.
Gel Polish: Elevate your toenails with a gel polish application. We offer an array of colours and always use decanted polish, no double dipping. Unlike beauty salons who are unable to treat fungal nails, all instruments are autoclaved and/or disposable to ensure no risk of cross contamination, making our gel polish treatments suitable for all, including those with fungal infections.
Surgical Treatments
Nail Surgery: A minor surgical procedure performed by our Senior Podiatrist to address various nail conditions. Common reasons for nail surgery include ingrown toenails, chronic infections or trauma resulting in nail deformities. During the procedure, either both sides of the affected nail, or the whole nail is removed under local anesthesic to alleviate pain and discomfort. a chemical can be used to prevent the nail growing back, or if you would prefer the nail to grow back, this stage can be omitted.
Verruca needling: a minor surgical procedure, which involves the use of a fine needle to puncture the verruca lesion and dermo epidermal junction multiple times under local anesthesic. The goal is to implant infected cells into the dermis thus stimulating an immune response and, therefore; destruction of the virus.
One huge advantage over other treatments such as cryosurgery and caustic is that only one or two sessions of treatment is usually needed. If you have multiple lesions then still only the main lesion needs to be treated as a systemic immune response is initiated.
